The Victory Hall - see history page - is a typical community hall on the outside but on the inside it is far from that. Once through the main door, the foyer affords access to the separate toilets and cloakrooms. The double doors lead from there into the Main Hall (approx. 50’ x 20’) where there is a large raised stage (approximately 12’ x 20’) with a professional sound system and PA fitted together with all the electrics and lighting any amateur dramatics group or entertainer would require. This room can easily accommodate 200 people seated or a mix of seating / tables / dance floor and is easily (and often) ‘dressed’ up to create differing ambiances. From the Main Hall, all other rooms can be reached including (1) the smaller (approx. 18’ x 18’) Meeting / Side room which is ideal for a smaller get together or meeting - this can also be accessed through it’s own external door (2) the bar at the adjoining Memorial Club (3) the extensively refitted and well stocked for utensils etc. Kitchen and (4) the on-site storerooms where a selection of seating and tables are available for users to lay out the rooms hired as they require.
