Any club worth it’s salt has various sections and organised activity groups. The Victory Hall Memorial Club is particularly blessed with some of the finest sporting facilities in the immediate and wider area.
The bowling green is a regular host of local, county and regional crown green competitions and the club has provided several bowlers who have attained regional recognition. The many club teams are multi winners of leagues and individual competitions. The league Treasurer is also a member of our club.
The snooker section is particularly strong and is the home of the local league. Several of the club players have won major local competitions and a junior snooker academy is hosted weekly. The Secretary of the local league and captain of the inter league team is a club member.
The dominoes league is also homed at the Memorial club. One of the major league competitions is named after the club President and teams and players are regular champions.
The club has played local challenge matches against other hostelries and in the local leagues. The steward is ex County standard and has played many of yesterdays professionals.
The youth section is a new and growing part of the club with a junior snooker and bowls academy the first stage of what this forward thinking club sees as the membership and stars of tomorrow.
