Club members organise several non-club based trips and events each year. Past events include the 37 mile stretch of the famous Sandstone walking Trail from Whitchurch to Frodsham where the 5 members, at their own expense, raised just over £1,300 for the Children In Need charity.
We also have our own ‘in house / on site’ events and evenings including the Open bowls competitions (such as the Peter Traynor) and, of course, our famous Real ale / Beer Festivals.
Club teams also organise their own end of relevant season do’s which usually involve nights out and / or away while other events include the annual brewery visit, the Blackpool bowls trip and the infamous pilgrimage to the various racecourses in the north for their own ‘biggies’ which include the St Leger, the Grand National and Chester’s festival of racing.
