SNOOKER
Well the new season has started with our full compliment of 4 teams in the Knutsford & District Amateur Snooker League (Tony Crompton, member, is the league Secretary). The A team are in division 1, the B team and C team in division 2 and the D team in division 3.
BOWLS
The season is now complete and the 7 teams - 4 in the Knutsford league and 3 in the Friday night - have all had solid seasons. The Friday night B team clinched runners-up spots in divisions 2 and we were runners-up in the Jack B 6-a-side.
In the Knutsford League the A team clinched their best finishing place of 3rd. Mike Gittins had a great season in winning the KFL Pairs with Steve
Armitage, r-up in the KBL Emmett cup and the division 2 KBL averages. Bowls lessons restart in April 2008.
BEER FESTIVAL
The 2007 Beer Festival was held over the weekend of the 2nd August again. Visitor, pints drunk and turnover increased for the 5th year running.
FARMERS MARKET
What a success! Every stall selling out once dates are released. We now hold them on the 3rd Sunday each month.
