The Memorial Club facilities are second to none in the area. Renowned for their range and quality, they are the envy of many larger clubs visiting for any of the many sports or entertainment events held.
A large car park affords easy entry and exit from the site, there is easy disabled access both into and around the club and a no smoking policy for the comfort of staff, members and guests.
There are three top class snooker tables with new clothes, pockets and cushions fitted on a 3 year cycle - fully refurbished in
2006. The main match table has a raised seating area around it for spectators.
The snooker equipment - full butts, half butts, spiders, cue extensions, rests, spiders and balls - have all been replaced in the past year and lights for the tables are on pay clocks at a fraction of snooker hall cost.
The refurbished lounge has a small raised stage with professional lighting, PA and sound system for the regular live entertainment. The seating area is flexible and high quality and can be easily rearranged for
dominoes and darts matches and finals or the occasional race, quiz or casino night.
The lounge can accommodate parties of up to 100 the adjoining Victory Hall (still under the Memorial Club umbrella) has a much larger main and sub room ‘for hire’ which can accommodate up to 250 visitors with full catering facilities.
The crown bowls green is free draining onto the adjacent fields which has covered spectator areas, separately powered bowls hut and affords unobstructed views across the Cheshire plain.
